Security Solutions specializes in security installations and maintenance, including but not limited to CCTV systems, electric fencing, and gate motors. We are dedicated to providing superior service using high-quality products and trained technicians.

 

We are Certified Installers of: Centurion Gate Motors, Nemtek Electric Fencing and HikVision CCTV systems.

 

Services provided are subject to availability and are carried out by qualified personnel. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services in cases of unsafe working conditions, improper site readiness, or non-payment.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND INSTALLATION OF SECURITY PRODUCTS

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the sale and installation of security-related products
and services provided by SECURITY SOLUTIONS, hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” to the client,
hereinafter referred to as the “Customer.

1. SCOPE OF WORK, QUOTES, AND PRICING
1.1. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of security products such as, but not limited to,
electric fences, CCTV systems, gate motors, alarms, and access control systems.
1.2. All quotes are valid for 5 (five) calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
1.3. Prices quoted are based on a site inspection or Customer-provided specifications. Should the site
conditions differ from what was initially quoted, or additional work be required, the Company reserves
the right to revise the quotation.
1.4. All pricing is exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
1.5. The Company reserves the right to charge for callouts, travel, or additional materials required outside
of the original scope of work. The Company reserves the right to make changes in specifications,
construction, or design of its Product(s) without prior notice.

2. WARRANTIES
2.1. Product Warranty
2.1.1. All products supplied by the Company carry a manufacturer’s warranty, typically ranging from 12 to
24 months, depending on the item.
2.1.2. Product warranties are subject to manufacturer terms and do not cover damage caused by power
surges, lightning, user abuse, vandalism, or tampering.
2.2. Installation Warranty
2.2.1. The Company warrants the quality of installation workmanship for a period of 3 (three) months
from the date of completion.
2.2.2. This warranty excludes any faults due to:
- Alterations made by third parties;
- Environmental conditions;
- Misuse or neglect by the Customer.

3. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
3.1. Returns of unused and unopened goods will be accepted within 7 (seven) calendar days of purchase,
subject to a 20% handling fee.

3.2. Custom or specially ordered items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
3.3. In the event of a defective product, the Company will repair or replace the product in accordance
with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
3.4. The Customer is responsible for returning the goods to the Company’s premises unless otherwise
agreed.

4. PAYMENT TERMS & DELIVERY
4.1. A 75% deposit is required to confirm the order and commence installation, with the balance due on
the day of completion of the installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2. Ownership of goods remains with SECURITY SOLUTIONS until full payment has been received.
4.3. Delays in payment will incur interest at 6.5% per month on the outstanding amount.
4.4. Delivery dates are estimates and the Company will not be liable for any loss resulting from delays
beyond its control.
4.5. The Customer is responsible for providing safe and unimpeded access to the installation site.

5. FORCE MAJEURE & INDEMNITIES
5.1. The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond its
control, including but not limited to: fire, flood, strikes, lockouts, pandemics, shortages, or breakdowns.
5.2. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and
subcontractors against any loss, damage, or injury (including death) resulting from:
- Interference with installations;
- Misuse of products;
- Failure to maintain security systems.

6. LEGAL FRAMEWORK
6.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of
South Africa.
6.2. The parties’ consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Court or any competent South African
court for the resolution of disputes.
6.3. Any legal costs incurred in the recovery of overdue amounts shall be for the Customer’s account on
an attorney-and-client scale.
6.4. No waiver or variation of these terms shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.

ACCEPTANCE
By signing the quote or paying a deposit, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and
accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
